on The First Anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Cap Rouge, Haiti

Mrs. Therese Saint Louis, a lady who became a widow some years ago, struggles to meet the basic needs of her three children. On January 12th, 2010, the little she had was taken from her as the earthquake destroyed her home and she made every effort to survive in a makeshift house (The Director of the Mission confesses he had never seen anything so terrible!).
Exactly one year to the day, Mrs. Saint Luis was presented with a beautiful new home as a result of the ministry of ‘The Arms of Jesus Children’s Mission.’ Therese could hardly contain her excitement because for the first time in a year, she and her children would be sleeping in a ‘house’ and she thanked God for providing her with the new home. The Mission is grateful to donors, and to God for the provision of funds to build permanent homes for broken families. This home was the 34th built since the earthquake!
