Karla is a very intelligent and social girl, she is creative and follows directions. She likes to play with dolls, and pretends to make food. She knows the numbers one through five, even though she forgets number three.

The father of Karla is Carlos Vinicio Boror Curup, he is 23 years old and only studied to sixth grade. He works on a farm watering all the crops every day. The mother is Lilian Sactic, she is 23 years old, and is illiterate. She is a housewife taking care of all the house chores and taking care of her girls. The youngest is Emelyn Yosaida, she is 2 years old.

The family is going thru harsh times, the parents of Mister Carlos gave him some land, but this land does not have electricity or water, and they cannot pay for these utilities. However, they are trying their best to save for them. They love this place, as it is a safe place, with many families knowing each other and helping one another.

At the moment Mister Carlos Vinicio's family has provided them a room on a temporary basis, with a bed and a gas stove (that is not in use, because they don't have the money to buy gas). But they have a economical wood stove, which is used by families. This is just one example of how they help each other.

The family goes to church on Sundays, as they know how important it is for God to guide their family.
