Nerline Jean Pierre was born in Cap-Rouge in a small community call Clemence. Her father's name is Nelson Jean Pierre. Her mother's name is Nadege Jean Francois. Nerline is one of two twin girls; her sister's name is Nerlande Jean Pierre.
Last Saturday, during our outreach clinic, I saw this young lady come in with her children. She had heard that a doctor was coming, so she came to get medical assistance for the children. Nadege, the mother, is 26 years old; she is living with a young man of 29 years old; neither of them is working. Nadege is breast-feeding the babies and she is unable to provide any other food for them. Nadege now thanks God because our doctor was able to assist them.
Now, I can tell you that both children are not really living well at all. The mother really needs some help. In our days, to have one child is hard, but to get two at the same time makes it almost impossible to cope. Nadege would appreciate it if she can get someone to assist her with Nerline through sponsorship. This first year has been really hard for her and for the children.
