Monia Samedi was born in Cap-Rouge, a mountainous district north of the coastal city of Jacmel. She is a very nice little girl. Her mother's name is Monique Samedi and her father's name is André Joseph Samedi. Monia has one older brother, Elison.
Monia attends school in third year kindergarten and will soon be ready for primary school.
Monia lives in a two-bedroom home with her mother; her father moved to the Dominican Republic three years ago and has never returned. According to Mrs. Monique Samedi, life is difficult for her and the children; she has to work in a small plot of land to provide for the children. Her husband has never sent any form of assistance to her or the children since he moved to the DR. Monia will be eligible for primary school next school year but, without a miracle, Monique will not be able to afford to send Monia to school.
Monique is a young woman and works very hard, but still she is limited in how she can support her children. Both Monia and Elison are sad and miss their father's presence.
Monique prays that someone will sponsor Monia through the Arms of Jesus Children's Mission since she knows that many other children's lives have been changed through its ministry.
Would you consider being the sponsor who causes a miracle to happen in Monia's young life?
