Amabilia is a very shy and serious 13 year old girl who lives with her mother and two brothers; her father has left home. Amabilia lives in Parramos, she is an indigena from the area, and she and her whole family wear typical clothes which they make themselves. Her mother works really hard making typical napkins to sell to other people. It sometimes takes three months to finish a set of napkins and she makes very little money after expending a lot of time and effort.

Amabilia is now in fifth grade at school. With your help, she will be able to stay in school and go on to high school where she may be able to learn disciplines and skills to equip her for a better future
