Abner Estuardo is four years old; he is a kind, smiling and helpful little boy. He helps his mother to do the household chores. In his spare time, he likes to play ball and cars with his cousins. Abner would really like to attend school and his big dream is to be a teacher when he grows up.
Abner has a little brother Marc Erickson who is two years old. They both live with their mother Nelsi Marina Luis who is 22 years old. Nelsi not only takes care of the children and their house chores; she also has to work for another family to make an income because Abner's father abandoned them. Abner, his brother and mother live with Abner's maternal grandmother Ana Luis who is 43 years old. Ana also works doing house chores for other people.
Mother Nelsi works hard to provide for her children, she is concerned for their future and always gives them good advice. The family regularly attends church because they want to learn more about the love of God.
The extended family lives in a small room which is made of block, concrete floor and a tin roof. They have running water and electricity, but they still cook their food over a wood fire.
Would you please consider whether you can help this little boy? If you were to sponsor him through the Arms of Jesus Children's Mission, he would be eligible to attend the AOJ school in Parramos, he would receive a good education and he would enjoy at least one nutritious meal a day there. You would be the vessel through which God's light could shine on this poor family.
